75mm Layflat Hose Red

LF075R is the 75 mm red layflat, rated 130 psi (9 bar) at 20°C over an 83 mm outside diameter. At this bore the blue hose stops at 60 psi, so the red is the one to reach for when a big pump is working against head rather than just dumping water downhill. It stores flat and rolls up on site. Nothing in the wall resists vacuum, so it stays on the outlet.

Why does the rating drop from 150 psi to 130 psi at 75 mm?

The larger the bore, the greater the force the same wall has to hold back at a given pressure. The 40 mm, 50 mm and 63 mm red sizes take 150 psi; 75 mm and 100 mm are rated 130 psi.

Is red layflat worth it over blue at this size?

If the pump works against head, yes: 130 psi against 60 psi for the blue 75 mm. For gravity-assisted drainage where pressure never climbs, the blue hose does the same job.
