76mm Rubber Water Delivery Hose

At 76 mm (3"), RWD076mm is the discharge hose for 3 inch pumps and tank-filling work. The bore is what buys the flow; the high strength synthetic cord in the wall is what holds the 10 bar (145 psi) rating while it does. Tube and cover are black smooth synthetic rubber, weather and abrasion resistant, good from -20 to +80°C. It is not a suction hose: the wall carries no helix and will collapse under vacuum.

Why does a delivery hose have no helix?

It does not need one and would be worse for having it. A helix adds weight, stiffness and cost, and pressure from inside already holds the bore open. The helix only matters when the pressure is outside, on a pump inlet.

Is 76 mm the right size for a 3 inch pump outlet?

Yes. 76 mm is the metric bore for 3 inch, and fittings are sold under both labels. Keeping the delivery line the full size of the outlet preserves flow over a long run.
