8mm Blue/Yellow PVC Air Hose

8 mm blue and yellow PVC air hose (part PHM08) is a light workshop air line, a step up from 6 mm where a little more flow is wanted without adding weight to the hose being dragged around. It is built from a black PVC smooth inner with high tenacity polyester yarn reinforcement and a blue PVC cover with a yellow stripe, and it stays flexible in the cold where cheap air hose goes stiff.

Compatibility and fitting

• Fits a 8 mm hose tail; secure with a hose clamp, two per end on a pressurised line

• Also available made up with fittings, ready to plug in
• For oil resistant service, rubber multi purpose hose is the better choice

What does AS 2554 Class B mean?

It is the Australian standard for rubber and plastics hose for compressed air, and Class B is the general industrial class. It is worth checking for, because unrated air hose is a genuine safety problem at 230 psi.
