Stainless Steel Deck Filler

These deck fillers are not breathable, so a tank filled through one still needs a separate breather on the vent line. With that established: they are 316G stainless steel, flush mounted, with an O-ring seal to reduce water ingress, a cap retainer chain, a lockable cap with key included, and a straight hose connection. They are marked diesel, petrol, water or waste so the wrong hose does not go into the wrong fill.

Compatibility and fitting

• Cut the deck to 46 mm for the 38 mm filler or 52 mm for the 50 mm, then fix with 5 mm countersunk screws
• Allow 76 mm or 82 mm of clear depth under the deck for the intrusion
• Because the filler is not breathable, fit a separate vent: breathers are in skin fittings and marine products
• Fuel filler hose to suit is in fuel filler hose
• Waste fills pair with white marine sanitation hose

Does the deck filler vent the tank?

No. These fillers are specified as non-breathable, which means the tank needs its own breather line and vent fitting. Filling a tank with no working vent is slow at best and splits fittings at worst.
