Stainless Steel Elbow M/F 45 Degrees

Forty-five degrees is what you reach for when a right angle would kink the hose or push the run into something. This elbow carries a male BSPT leg and a female leg, so it swings a line half a corner and lands ready for the next fitting. Seven sizes in 316 stainless, 1/2" through 2 1/2", to 150 psi maximum working pressure.

When is a 45 better than a 90?

Whenever the bend is being used to line something up rather than to turn it. Two 45s make an offset with far less pressure drop than two 90s, and on a suction line a softer bend is one less place for the hose to flatten.
