Stainless Steel Elbow M/F

This elbow turns a threaded run through 90 degrees with one fitting rather than two: male BSPT on one leg, female on the other, so it screws straight onto a male port and still leaves you a female to work into. Twelve sizes in 316 stainless from 1/8" to 4", each rated to a maximum working pressure of 150 psi.

Compatibility and fitting

• Male leg goes into a female port; the female leg takes any male BSP fitting
• Where both ports are female, use the female BSP elbow instead

Why choose male/female over female/female?

A female/female elbow needs a nipple to land on a male port, which adds a joint, a length of thread and one more place to seal. The male/female pattern goes straight on. Order female/female only when both sides you are joining are already male.
