Stainless Steel Female Tee

Three female BSP ports at right angles: a tee splits a run, brings two lines together, or gives you somewhere to hang a gauge. All three ports are the same size, so branch sizing is done with a bush rather than by ordering an unequal tee. Twelve sizes in 316 stainless from 1/8" to 4", each rated to 150 psi.

Applications

• Teeing a pressure gauge or a transmitter into a discharge line

Compatibility and fitting

• Each port takes a male BSP fitting, for example a hex nipple
• Reduce the branch with a BSP bush screwed into the port
• Close an unused leg with a hex plug
• Add an isolating ball valve on the branch

How do I get a smaller branch?

Fit a bush into the branch port. A 1" tee with a 1" x 1/2" bush gives a 1/2" take-off and costs one part, where an unequal tee would have to be ordered in. The run stays the full 1" bore either side.
