100 mm Grey PVC External Rib Ducting is grey PVC ducting reinforced with a square external PVC helix. It is the standard branch size on a workshop system, and the most ordered bore in the Ductaflex range.

PVC rib or steel helix at 100 mm?

At this size either works. Take the PVC rib where the duct moves around and gets dragged; take the steel helix where the run is long or the extractor is strong enough to start closing the bore.

External rib or steel helix?

The external rib is all PVC, so nothing rusts and there is no metal in the wall. Choose it where the duct gets dragged about. Choose the steel helix where suction is strong enough to collapse a softer duct.
