12mm (1/2") Rubber Multi Purpose Hose

12mm (1/2") rubber multi purpose hose (part RMPT12) is a higher flow air line for tools that draw volume, and the size to choose when a long run has been costing pressure at the tool end. The tube is black smooth synthetic rubber and electrically non-conductive, under a braided synthetic cord reinforcement and a red oil, ozone and weather resistant cover.

Compatibility and fitting

• Fits a 12mm hose tail; secure with a hose clamp, two per end under pressure
• Brass and stainless tails to suit are in the brass fittings range
• For petrol, diesel or fuel vapour use SAE 30R7 fuel hose, never this hose
• Keep within the -25°C to +100°C range; the cover hardens outside it

Does hose length reduce pressure at the tool?

Every metre costs a little, and small bores cost far more than large ones. If your tool is underperforming at the end of a long 8 mm line, the fix is usually 12 mm hose rather than more compressor pressure.
