10mm Clear Wire Helix Food Suction Hose

The smallest bore in the Helisteel range, 10 mm inside and 16 mm outside, with a steel wire helix wound into a transparent PVC wall. Small-bore dosing, sampling and racking lines are where it earns its keep: you can see the product move and see the line clear. At 225 psi at 20°C it carries the highest pressure rating of any size in this range. SKU HELI010.

Compatibility and fitting

• The steel helix holds the bore open on the suction side; a plain 10 mm delivery tube will flatten under vacuum and stop the pump

Can it be used on the delivery side as well?

Yes. The supplier rates this hose for both suction and delivery of liquid foods and alcoholic beverages, so the same 10 mm line can run either side of the pump within the 225 psi rating.
