125mm Marine Wet Exhaust Hose

At 125 mm the hose has become a structural part of the exhaust system rather than a flexible connector, and it needs supporting as one. RMWE125 carries the weight of standing water in the run as well as its own, so brackets along the route do more for its service life than anything else. The wall is high-strength synthetic cord over a steel wire helix, the tube is smooth and specified against exhaust gases, and the corrugated cover resists ozone and oil.

Compatibility and fitting

• Bracket the run at intervals rather than letting the hose hang between joints
• Allow for engine movement on flexible mounts: the hose absorbs it, the brackets should not fight it

Does a long run need support?

Yes. A 125 mm hose full of water is heavy, and unsupported weight ends up pulling on the clamped joints at each end. Support the run and the joints only have to seal, not carry.
