150 mm Grey PVC External Rib Ducting is grey PVC ducting reinforced with a square external PVC helix. It is the largest Ductaflex bore stocked, for main runs and collector connections on a light duty system.

Is an all PVC duct strong enough for a main run?

For a light duty workshop system, yes. For a hard industrial system with strong suction or abrasive material, the steel helix or polyurethane options are the better specification.

External rib or steel helix?

The external rib is all PVC, so nothing rusts and there is no metal in the wall. Choose it where the duct gets dragged about. Choose the steel helix where suction is strong enough to collapse a softer duct.
