16mm Clear Wire Helix Food Suction Hose

A 16 mm bore with a 22 mm outside diameter, transparent from end to end so the line can be checked without breaking it. The wall is food grade PVC and the reinforcement is a steel wire helix, which is what allows the hose to be pulled on by a pump rather than only pushed through. Working pressure 90 psi at 20°C. Code HELI016.

Suction hose or delivery hose?

Delivery hose is only built to resist pressure from the inside. On the inlet side of a pump the pressure is negative and an unreinforced hose flattens shut. The steel helix in this hose holds the 16 mm bore open, which is why it can be used either side of the pump.
