25mm Marine Wet Exhaust Hose

A generator set or a small auxiliary sends exhaust gas and raw cooling water down the same pipe, and 25 mm is the bore most of them leave the muffler with. RMWE025 is built for that mixture: a smooth tube that stands up to exhaust gas, a steel wire helix embedded in high-strength synthetic cord so the bore keeps its shape where space forces a tight route, and a black corrugated cover that resists ozone and oil in a closed engine bay.

Compatibility and fitting

• Sized on bore, so measure the spigot rather than the outside of the hose you are pulling off
• Every joint takes two stainless clamps; sizes are in the clamp range
• Transom outlets and through-hull skin fittings are in skin fittings and marine products
• Larger bores up to 200 mm are in the marine exhaust hose range

Can this hose run a dry exhaust?

No. The supplier rates it for marine exhaust and sea water mixture applications with a ceiling of +100°C, which is a wet exhaust figure. It belongs downstream of the point where cooling water is injected, never on a length of pipe carrying gas alone.
