25mm PVC Marine/RV Drain Hose

The 25 mm size, MF25, is the one most caravan and boat sink wastes are plumbed with, and it is also the usual outlet size on a small bilge pump. It measures 31.1 mm on the outside, which is worth knowing before you drill a bulkhead or size a clamp. Black PVC with a rigid PVC helix gives it the crush resistance to sit under a bunk or through a locker without collapsing, and the smooth bore stops food scraps building up.

Can this hose be used on a pump inlet?

Yes for short lifts, because the rigid helix stops it collapsing under suction. It is still a light wall drain hose, so a long or high suction lift belongs on a proper suction hose rather than this one.

Is it suitable for toilet waste?

No. Black water needs a sanitation hose with an odour barrier; see the white marine sanitation range instead.
