28mm PVC Marine/RV Drain Hose

28 mm is the awkward in-between size that a lot of imported vans and boats use, and MF28 is stocked so a 28 mm outlet does not have to be adapted down to 25 mm or up to 32 mm. Outside diameter is 34.9 mm. The construction is the same lightweight black PVC with a rigid PVC helix as the rest of the range, rated 0.2 MPa (29 psi) at 20°C and -5°C to +60°C, and it conforms to AS/NZS 2070.

Compatibility and fitting

• Suits a 28 mm tail; a 25 mm tail will not seal properly in this bore even with a tight clamp
• Clamp with the correct band size from hose clamps
• The rest of the drain sizes are on PVC marine and RV drain hose

Why is there a 28 mm as well as a 25 mm and 32 mm?

Because plenty of imported plumbing is built to it. Forcing 25 mm hose onto a 28 mm spigot leaves the clamp doing all the work, and stretching it over 32 mm thins the wall at the joint.
