63mm Layflat Hose Red

The 63 mm red layflat, LF063R, holds 150 psi (10.3 bar) at 20°C on a 70 mm outside diameter, which makes it the highest pressure rating we stock at this bore. It suits dewatering and transfer work where the discharge run is long enough that a low-rated hose would be marginal. It flattens for storage and, like the rest of the layflat range, must not be fitted to a pump inlet.

Compatibility and fitting

• Fitted with 63 mm camlocks or tails from the camlock range
• Match the clamp to the 70 mm outside diameter, not the bore; see hose clamps
• Use grey PVC water suction hose between the water and the pump
• The lower-pressure equivalent is blue layflat hose

Which clamp size fits 63 mm red layflat hose?

Size the clamp to the outside diameter over the fitting shank, not to the 63 mm bore. The hose measures 70 mm outside, which is 3 mm more than the blue hose in the same bore.
