Relaxn Auto Bilge Pump 750 GPH 12V Submersible

BP750A12 is the automatic 750 GPH pump, the one for a boat left on a mooring or a swing where nobody is there to hit the helm switch. Water sensing control is integrated into the pump, so there is no separate float switch to jam with debris or to wire in. It moves approximately 2839 litres per hour on 12V, and the compact body fits the tight bilge spaces where an automatic pump is most needed. Ignition protected, non-burnout, water-cooled motor with a stainless steel shaft.

Compatibility and fitting

• Wire it to a permanently live, fused circuit, not the ignition switch, or it cannot run when the boat is unattended
• Run the discharge in smooth bore hose from PVC marine and RV drain hose
• The 24V version BP750A24 and the higher output BP1200A12 are on bilge pumps

How does an automatic pump know when to run?

It senses water at the pump body and starts itself, then stops when the level drops. Because the sensing is integrated, there is no float arm sitting in the bilge to be fouled by debris or oil.

Do I still need a manual override?

It is good practice. A manual switch at the helm lets you run the pump on demand and confirms it is working without waiting for water in the bilge.
