Stainless Steel Elbow Female

Female at both ends and turning through 90 degrees, this elbow sits between two male threads and changes the direction of the run. It is the pattern to order when a nipple already stands proud of a pump, a valve or a tank boss on both sides of the corner. Twelve sizes in 316 stainless from 1/8" to 4", rated to 150 psi.

Compatibility and fitting

• Accepts a male BSP thread each side, such as a hex nipple
• Where one side is female, the M/F elbow saves a fitting
• A softer turn is available as the female 45 degree elbow
• Branch off instead with a female tee

Female elbow or male/female elbow?

Count the threads you already have. Two male stubs meeting at a corner want this female pattern. A male stub feeding a female fitting wants the M/F elbow, which lands on the stub directly and saves both a nipple and a leak path.
