10mm Chemical Spray Hose

PHC10 is the 10 mm bore in our chemical spray hose range, sized for handheld spray guns, knapsack units and small trailer sprayers where the line is dragged along a fence line all day. The tube and cover are a PVC, nitrile and polymeric plasticiser compound reinforced with high tenacity polyester yarn, under a UV stabilised black PVC outer. Working pressure is 2.0 MPa (290 psi) with a 4:1 safety factor, and the hose conforms to AS 2070 and AS 2554.

Compatibility and fitting

• Slips over a 10 mm hose tail and is held with a worm drive or ear clamp; see hose clamps
• Check the concentrate you are spraying against its own compatibility chart before committing a reel run to this hose

Will this hose carry any agricultural chemical?

No. The tube is a PVC and nitrile compound, which suits a large part of the common spray chemicals but not all of them. Read the chemical manufacturer's compatibility chart against PVC and nitrile before you buy, particularly for solvents and strong oxidisers.

Is 10 mm the bore or the outside diameter?

It is the inside diameter, so the hose fits over a 10 mm barb. Measure the tail on the gun or the pump, not the old hose wall, when you order a replacement length.
