About Chemical Spray Hose
Chemical spray hose has to hold pressure at the gun while carrying agricultural chemicals that will attack an ordinary garden hose from the inside. Our reinforced PVC spray hose is stocked in 10 mm and 12.5 mm, cut to length from two metres or on a 20 metre coil, and dispatched from our Brisbane warehouse to farms, spray contractors and pest control operators across Australia.
Chemical spray hose sizes we stock
- 10 mm: the common size for handheld spray guns, knapsack units and small trailer sprayers, where a lighter hose is easier to drag along a fence line.
- 12.5 mm: higher flow work such as longer reel runs, boom sprayers and vehicle-mounted rigs, where the larger bore keeps pressure at the nozzle.
Both sizes come in two, five, eight, 10 and 15 metre cut lengths and a 20 metre coil, so you can buy a replacement reel run without a full drum.
Choosing the right chemical spray hose
- Size: match the hose inside diameter to the pump outlet tail and the gun inlet, and step up a size on long runs to hold pressure at the nozzle.
- Compatibility: check the chemical against the hose before committing. Water-based agricultural chemicals are the intended duty; solvents and fuels are not.
- Pressure: work within the rating shown on the product and keep the run clear of sharp edges and hot surfaces.
- Fittings: use a hose tail and clamp in a material that suits the chemical, from our nylon fittings or poly fittings ranges.
- Care: flush with clean water after use and store out of direct sunlight.
