25mm Fire Reel Hose

The 25 mm fire reel hose is the larger bore option where a reel has to deliver more water than a standard 20 mm drum will pass, on bigger sheds, farm fire units and industrial reels. Nominal inside diameter is 25 mm with a 34.1 mm outside diameter, so check the drum tail and roller gap before ordering. It conforms to AS/NZS 1221, is rated 1 MPa (145 psi) at 20°C with a 4:1 safety factor, and comes in two roll lengths.

Compatibility and fitting

Will 25 mm hose fit a standard reel?

Usually not. Most reels are built around 20 mm hose, and the 34.1 mm outside diameter of this size needs a wider roller gap and a bigger drum. Measure before you buy a full roll.
