50mm PVC Marine/RV Drain Hose

MF50 is the largest drain hose in the range at 50 mm, used where a cockpit, deck or tank has to empty fast and a smaller bore would hold water on the sole. Outside diameter is 56.9 mm, so allow for it when drilling. It is still the same light black PVC wall with a rigid PVC helix, which is what lets a 50 mm line be pulled through a locker by hand rather than plumbed in rigid pipe. Rated 0.2 MPa (29 psi) at 20°C.

Compatibility and fitting

• Fits a 50 mm skin fitting or tail; use a heavy band clamp sized to the 56.9 mm outside diameter
• Support long horizontal runs so the hose keeps its fall and does not pond
• Where the line must hold real pressure rather than drain, use a rated PVC pressure hose such as safety yellow PVC hose

Can it be used as flexible drainage pipe?

For gravity drainage and pump discharge, yes, and its flexibility is why people choose it over rigid pipe. It is not a buried stormwater pipe: it has no crush rating for backfill and the 29 psi figure is a working pressure, not a load rating.
