90mm Polyurethane Ducting Medium Grade

90 mm Polyurethane Ducting Medium Grade is clear polyurethane ducting with a copper coated steel helix. It is a branch size for dust and chip systems, between the common 80 mm and 100 mm machine ports.

Compatibility and fitting

• Sized on inside diameter: 90 mm ducting fits a 90 mm spigot
• Clamp to spigots with a worm drive clamp
• Bond the copper coated helix to earth; it is only anti-static if it is actually earthed
• For plain air and fume with no abrasive content, grey PVC ducting costs less and lasts as long

Do I need to match the machine port exactly?

As closely as you can. A step in bore is a place for material to drop out and build up, and buildup is what turns into a blockage.

How do I stop material dropping out?

Keep the air velocity up. Ducts are sized for velocity, not just volume, and an oversized duct lets material settle and eventually block the line.
