Hi-Vac Liquid Suction Hose

Hi-Vac is the liquid suction and pumping grade in the Plastiflex vacuum range, built for sanitation, sewer and environmental clean-up work rather than airflow. The construction that separates it is the over-moulded, fusion bonded cuffs: the ends are formed as part of the hose instead of clamped on afterwards, which is what holds a secure connection through repeated coupling and uncoupling on portable and mobile equipment. It is designed to handle liquid suction under vacuum and is supplied as a 50 mm, 15 m coil.

Compatibility and fitting

• The moulded cuffs mate to the equipment coupling, so there is no cuff to fit or clamp on site
• Use it on the liquid side; for airflow recovery the G VAC and M VAC grades are the right hose
• The rest of the range, including 38 mm and 50 mm G VAC and 50 mm M VAC, is on Plastiflex vac hose

Why do the fusion bonded cuffs matter?

A clamped cuff is the first thing to leak on a suction line that gets coupled and uncoupled every job. Bonding the cuff into the hose wall removes that joint, which is why this grade is used on tanker and portable sanitation work rather than a general vacuum hose.
