100mm (4") Blue Silicone Radiator/Intercooler Hose

100 mm (4") moves out of the vehicle range and into heavy plant, generator sets and big-bore intake work. At this size the hose is usually joining air cleaner to turbo, or carrying coolant on a machine where a failed hose stops the site. The silicone wall runs from -55°C to 180°C, and the supplier is direct about the exclusion: not suitable for fuel or oil transfer.

Compatibility and fitting

• T-bolt clamps are the practical choice on a 100 mm silicone join. Perforated bands cut into the softer wall and lose tension where they have bedded in; the clamp range covers the alternatives.

Can it be used on an engine air intake?

Yes. Air intake and charge air are what the range is built around, alongside radiator work, and the smooth bore keeps the flow clean where a corrugated duct would not.

How much should I order for a machine repair?

A 500 mm piece covers most single joins with enough left to square up the cut. The 1 m length is worth having on a machine you cannot get parts to easily.
