12mm (1/2") Auto Transmission Cooler Hose

12mm (1/2") auto transmission cooler hose (RTH12) is the large bore in the range, for heavy-duty coolers, bigger boxes and truck installations where a 10mm line would throttle the return. Same construction as the smaller sizes: black nitrile tube for oil, two spiral synthetic cords for the 250 psi rating, black Hypalon cover for engine bay heat to 121°C. Cut at 1m, 3m and 5m, or on a 7.5m spool.

Why is the spool 7.5m rather than 15.2m?

The larger bore is supplied on a shorter spool, so the 12mm size runs to 7.5m where the 8mm and 10mm sizes run to 15.2m. If you need a continuous run longer than 7.5m, order it as a cut length and check availability first.
