20mm (3/4") Clear Multi Purpose Hose

20mm clear braided PVC hose (part PHCMP20) is a 20 mm (3/4") bore multi-purpose hose for water transfer, compressed air, mild chemicals and food and beverage lines. Built from clear PVC with a smooth bore, red-tracer polyester yarn reinforcement and a UV-stabilised blue-tint cover, it carries a working pressure of 16 bar (232 psi) at 20°C and conforms to AS/NZS 2554 and AS/NZS 2070 for food contact. We cut it per metre from 1 m and stock 20 m and 100 m coils in Brisbane. Full specifications are listed below.

Compatibility and fitting

Fit the hose to 20 mm (3/4") barbed hose tails from our brass fittings or poly fittings ranges, choosing a BSP thread to match the pump, tap or manifold. Clamp each tail with an 18-32 mm or 21-38 mm worm-drive clamp from hose clamps, or a T-bolt clamp on pump delivery lines. For quick-disconnect transfer lines, camlock fittings with a hose tail in this size suit the bore.

Frequently asked questions

Is 20mm hose the same as 3/4 inch? Yes. 20 mm is the metric nominal size for 3/4" hose and fits 3/4" hose tails.

Can I use 20mm clear braided hose for oil or fuel? It handles mild chemicals but is not rated for oil or fuel service. Use rubber petrol and oil delivery hose for those lines.
