20mm (3/4") Rubber Multi Purpose Hose

20mm (3/4") rubber multi purpose hose (part RMPT20) is a heavy bore for bulk air and low pressure fluid transfer, specified where flow matters more than handling and the hose is usually run out and left in place. The tube is black smooth synthetic rubber and electrically non-conductive, under a braided synthetic cord reinforcement and a red oil, ozone and weather resistant cover.

Compatibility and fitting

• Fits a 20mm hose tail; secure with a hose clamp, two per end under pressure
• Brass and stainless tails to suit are in the brass fittings range
• For petrol, diesel or fuel vapour use SAE 30R7 fuel hose, never this hose
• Keep within the -25°C to +100°C range; the cover hardens outside it

How should a large bore hose be handled?

Run it out to position rather than dragging it, and drain it before coiling. At this bore the hose is heavy, and dragging is what wears the cover through on a concrete floor.
