20mm Rubber Petrol & Oil Delivery Hose

20mm rubber petrol and oil delivery hose (RPOD020mm) moves petrol, diesel, kerosene and lubricating oils away from a pump. The 20 mm bore is the size used for bowser leads, drum pump outlets and small transfer sets, where a light hose that a fitter can coil one-handed matters more than flow. This is a pressure-side hose. Its wall carries no helix, so it will pull flat and choke if it is put on a pump inlet.

Compatibility and fitting

• Discharge side only: for a pump inlet use rubber petrol and oil suction hose
• Order by inside diameter, so 20 mm hose goes onto a 20 mm tail
• Secure with a worm drive hose clamp sized to the hose outside diameter
• The copper anti-static wire only earths the line if it is carried through to the fitting at both ends

Can I run this on a pump inlet?

No. There is no helix in the wall to hold the bore open, so vacuum will collapse it. Suction duty needs the helix-reinforced version of this hose.
