25mm Rubber Petrol & Oil Delivery Hose

The 25 mm bore is the workhorse of this range: big enough to keep a workshop diesel transfer pump fed, small enough to handle on a bowser lead. 25mm rubber petrol and oil delivery hose (RPOD025mm) has a fuel-resistant synthetic rubber tube with 55% aromatic content, so it stays flexible in service instead of hardening the way a water hose does on fuel. Fit it downstream of the pump only.

Compatibility and fitting

• Pressure side of the pump. The inlet takes petrol and oil suction hose, which has a steel helix
• Sized on bore: a 25 mm hose tail is the match for this hose
• Clamp with a stainless or plated worm drive clamp over the tail barbs
• Carry the copper anti-static wire through to the fitting so static has a path to earth

Does 25 mm hose fit a one inch tail?

Usually, but order on the stated bore rather than the nominal imperial size. This hose is built to a 25 mm inside diameter and the tail should be specified in millimetres to avoid a loose or over-stretched joint.
