25mm (1") SAER6 Hydraulic Push on Hose 250psi

SAER616 is the 25 mm (1") bore and the largest we stock in SAE R6, rated to a maximum of 17 bar (250 psi). Nothing at this size is a pressure line: it is there to shift volume, on returns, tank plumbing and transfer duties. One textile braid over an oil resistant synthetic rubber tube, finished in a cover that handles weather, oil and abrasion.

Compatibility and fitting

• Fits 25 mm push on barbs; check the hose is seated fully before the system is filled
• 17 bar (250 psi) is the ceiling for this bore, not a working target
• This is a pressure hose, not a collapse resistant suction hose, so do not put it on the inlet side of a pump
• For a pressure line at 25 mm see two wire hydraulic hose
• Add HDPE spiral guard where the run touches steel

Why does a big hose have the lowest rating?

One textile braid has to hold back a much larger internal area at 25 mm than at 6 mm, so the pressure it can contain falls as the bore rises. Read the rating on the size, never on the range.

Does it need clamping on the barb?

The push on barb is designed to hold it. On a heavy 25 mm run that gets dragged or vibrated, a clamp over the barb is worth fitting for peace of mind.
