38mm Rubber Petrol & Oil Delivery Hose

38mm rubber petrol and oil delivery hose (RPOD038mm) is the size most farm and plant refuelling rigs are plumbed in. It takes the flow of a mains or engine-driven transfer pump on the discharge leg and delivers into a machine tank without the pressure drop a smaller bore introduces over a long run. The tube resists petrol, diesel and mineral oils; the reinforcement is textile cord, not a helix, so the hose belongs after the pump.

Compatibility and fitting

• Discharge duty. Use the helix-reinforced suction version from the tank to the pump
• Fits 38 mm tails, and 38 mm camlocks where the line is broken often
• Clamp both ends to the tail with worm drive or bolt clamps from the clamp range
• The copper anti-static wire needs an unbroken path to earth to be of any use

Does it take diesel as well as petrol?

Yes. The supplier rates the tube for petrol and oil service, which covers diesel, kerosene and lubricating oils across the same -20 to +80°C band.
