44mm Rubber Petrol & Oil Suction Hose

RPOS044mm covers the 44 mm inlets found on older transfer plant and imported pump sets. 44mm rubber petrol and oil suction hose is built the same way as the rest of the range, with a steel wire helix laid into high strength synthetic cord, so it holds its bore against a vacuum instead of nipping shut. Cut lengths mean a draw leg can be made to the exact distance between the tank outlet and the pump.

Does the steel helix corrode?

The helix sits inside the wall rather than on the surface, so it is protected as long as the cover is intact. A cut or a deep gouge that exposes the wire is a reason to replace the length rather than patch it.
