50mm Layflat Hose Blue

The 50 mm size, LF050B, is the one most water cartage and fire-fighting pump discharge runs are built from. The supplier lists it as a 51 mm nominal bore with a 54 mm outside diameter, rated 65 psi (4.5 bar) at 20°C. It is a delivery hose. Ask a pump to draw through a layflat wall and it collapses against itself, which is why the suction leg always uses helix hose.

Why does a 50 mm layflat hose measure 51 mm?

50 mm is the trade size and 51 mm is the nominal bore the supplier publishes. Fittings are bought to the 50 mm trade size, and the small difference is taken up when the tail is clamped.

How much pressure will it take?

65 psi (4.5 bar) at 20°C. That is a working figure for water, not a burst figure, and it falls as the hose gets hotter, so keep pump discharge below it.
