50mm Rubber Petrol & Oil Delivery Hose

At 50 mm the job changes from handling a lead to moving volume. 50mm rubber petrol and oil delivery hose (RPOD050mm) is the discharge hose on larger transfer pumps and on fixed fuel storage installations, where the run is longer and the pressure drop across a smaller bore starts to cost real litres per minute. The tube is fuel-resistant synthetic rubber; the reinforcement is textile cord with a copper anti-static wire, and there is no helix.

Compatibility and fitting

• Delivery only. A 50 mm suction leg needs the steel helix suction hose
• Commonly finished with 50 mm camlock couplings so lines can be broken and swapped
• Bolt or heavy worm drive clamps suit this bore better than a light band
• The copper anti-static wire must reach the fitting at each end to carry static away

What working pressure can I hold on it?

10 bar, which is 145 psi. That is the supplier's stated working pressure at the rated temperature range and it applies to every bore in the delivery range.
