100mm Layflat Hose Red

LF100R is the largest red layflat we cut: 104 mm nominal bore, 109 mm outside diameter, 130 psi (9 bar) at 20°C. That rating is more than twice the blue hose at the same bore, which is what makes it the choice for bulk transfer and mine dewatering where a 100 mm line still has to hold pressure. It is a discharge hose, and a pump inlet will flatten it as surely as it would the smallest size.

Compatibility and fitting

• 100 mm camlocks and tails terminate it; the range is under camlock fittings
• A charged 100 mm line is a two-person lift, so anchor both couplings before starting the pump
• Large clamps to suit the 109 mm outside diameter are in hose clamps
• Suction side takes a helix hose such as grey PVC suction hose
• The blue equivalent is on blue layflat hose

How does 100 mm red layflat compare with the blue hose?

Same 104 mm nominal bore, thicker wall at 109 mm outside diameter against 108 mm, and 130 psi at 20°C where blue is rated 60 psi. Fittings are identical.

Can it be laid straight on a haul road?

Not under traffic. Charged hose crushed by a wheel is a burst risk. Route it around traffic or protect the crossing; the cover handles dragging and sunlight, not axle loads.
